材料

• 1 bag (500g) frozen edamame, thawed
• 2 tbsp reduced salt soy sauce
• 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds
• 1/4 tsp sugar, or any other preferred sweetener

做法

  1. Fill a large pot halfway with water and salt and place on the stove over a high heat. Bring to the boil and add the edamame. Boil for 5-10 minutes then drain.
  2. Serve warm, or divide into individual servings to take with you to work or school the next day. To eat, open the pods along the seam on the side and scoop out the tasty green beans inside. Or if you are more adventurous, try popping them out by slightly squeezing down at the bottom of the beans to pop out of the top, and into your mouth.

小贴士

• Eating edamame the standard way involves using both hands and can be a little messy. To make things tidier, try taking the beans out of their pods before adding the dressing.
• Experiment with other toppings and seasonings, such as hijiki seaweed, shredded daikon radish, white miso, and togarashi spice.
