Skapa spektakulär, välsmakande chirashi sushi med en twist, med hjälp av detta enkla recept på chirashi sushi i glas. Detta är en japansk favorit i ny tappning; de delikata smakerna och iögonfallande färgerna av chirashi sushi, fast upplagt i praktiska engångsglas. De är tillräckligt vackra att servera på middagsbjudningar, samtidigt som de är enkla nog att göra för att äta dem till för- eller eftermiddagsmellanmålet.


sushi rice
smoked salmon
ikura (salmon roe)
perilla leaves
cucumber slices
kinshi tamago (thinly sliced egg omelette)
salmon flakes
sakura denbu (pink seasoned ground fish)

Så här gör du

  1. Prepare sushi rice first. If you need directions see our how to make sushi rice recipe. In individual glasses, place the rice and other ingredients in thin layers, probably 4-5 layers alternating sushi rice and toppings.
  2. Once you have filled the container almost to the top, top with the kinshi tamago and arrange the toppings such as smoked salmon, ikura, cucumber slices, prawns and/or sliced avocado.  Serve as a side or snack food at parties.

Tips och information

- If sakura denbu is not available, you can use boiled cod fillets, roughly 2, and then pulse them in a food processor. Then in a frying pan place the processed cod, and 1 tablespoon of mirin and cooking sake, and a little salt. Add some red food colouring and cook until all the water has evaporated from the boiled cod and it becomes nice and fluffy. Then add about 30g of sugar to give it that authentic sakura denbu taste.
