Udon noodles are thick white noodles made from wheat and noted for their fine, palatable and smooth taste. Incredibly popular in Japan, kitsune udon is named after kitsune foxes, whose supposedly favourite food is the fried tofu that floats on top of this dish.

How To Use

Making these tasty noodles couldn’t be simpler.
• Bring 300ml of water to the boil in a pan.
• Add the udon noodles, soup stock and seasoning, then simmer until the noodles are your preferred texture.
• Transfer to a bowl and garnish with the tempura flakes.
