Developed by a merchant in Osaka in 1935 takoyaki are little balls of dough containing chunks of octopus and smothered with delicious toppings. Cooked in specialist takoyaki plates, takoyaki have come to epitomise festival food and are a great way to spend an evening cooking with friends.

How To Use

Although made for takoyaki, this sauce can be used for a variety of other dishes:
• Squeeze over takoyaki for that authentic taste.
