Organic natto to fully experience its probiotic goodness.

Whether you've experienced its 'Marmite' love-hate taste or not, these infamous fermented beans of Japan and all their wondrous benefits fresh in this chilled packet. Made from their very own organically-grown soybeans, this versatile speciality comes extra full of the nourishing proteins and fibres it's known for, providing a rich source of vitamins from the abundant fields in Spain where it's grown. Perfect on its own as a breakfast or snack, its moreish, bold flavour combines well with a wide variety of ingredients also, making the perfect health staple to switch in for heavier foods, like cheese, without compromising on flavour.

Natto is in general not very appealing but is so good for our biome. This is as good as any.

Really good organic natto.

This is a super high-quality product. \n\nIt doesn’t come with any condiments, so I used a dab of Coleman’s Mustard and a splash of ** light soya sauce. It mixed up into a delicious thick gloopy slimy blob. Tasted great. I’ve removed a star because I prefer larger beans that have been cooked longer. These were rather small with a stiff texture rather than the very soft texture of the big brands. I’d call it the equivalent of al-dente which is perfect for pasta but not my taste for natto. \n\nDespite these negative points, I’m definitely going to buy this in future over my preferred experience with the big brands, because:\n(a) they’re laden with chemicals galore, whereas this Japan Centre original is a pure product;\n(b) it has a very long shelf-life and can be frozen as well; \n(c) the packaging is recyclable unlike the big brands.\n\nIf anyone’s taking notes from Japan Centre, then please consider larger beans with longer cooking times. Thanks!
