Sake is Japan’s most well-known alcoholic drink. It is brewed using any of a number of specialty sake rices, koji (otherwise known as rice malt or rice mould), and sometimes a little brewer's alcohol. A sake's characteristics, including how sweet or dry it is, how light or full bodied it is, and what flavours it evokes, depend on the type of rice and other ingredients used, how much the rice is polished/milled, and what brewing methods have been employed. To explore the wide and varied world of sake, take a look at Japan Centre's Sake section.

good for taster
Brilliant taste !
I originally thought this item was plastic but the fact it ws glass made it all the more better! I havent tatsed it as its a christmas present but I am over the moon with ir. Only thing I would say is the sticker attached to the bottle wasn't very attractive, although it did have a decent descroption about what the product was. Some different form of description other than a sticker to keep with the standard of the products would be great but that's me being picky!
First time trying sake, this was recommended for beginners. I love the little glass bottle.\nI tried it and wouldn't buy it again, my husband tried it and loves it.
