Enjoy umami rich soy sauce-flavoured chanko hotpot with Ebara's hotpot soup stock. With chicken stock as a protein-rich base, this soup stock is a delicious combination of kombu kep and bonito fish flavour and is all you need to complete a chanko nabe, or sumo stew. Like soups and stews are eaten in the west during the winter months, Japan indulges in steaming pots of nabe. This one-pot wonder of a meal is generally cooked on a portable electric stove placed on the middle of the dining room table. Ingredients are added to a flavoursome soup broth, allowed to cook through, and everybody is then able to scoop up what they would like from the pot into individual serving bowls. How To Use

To make a heartily warming nabe for 3-4 people:
• Shake the package before pouring the entire content into a hotpot.
• Add assorted protein, noodles and vegetables (for this flavour, we recommend adding 150g chicken thighs, 400g chinese cabbage, 2 spring onions, 2 slices of abura age tofu and 1/2 block tofu).
• Serve once ingredients have heated through.
