Bring extra protein to a favourite breakfast food with these amazingly delicious tofu pancakes. Substituting the milk normally included in pancakes with tofu, these pancakes are fluffy, a little chewy, and easy to make. Enjoy for breakfast or for dessert with your favourite pancake toppings.

材料

• 150g tofu
• 1 egg white
• 50g strong flour
• 1g baking powder
• vanilla essence
• sugar

手順

  1. In a bowl whisk the tofu until smooth. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

  2. Add the flour and baking powder to the tofu, then whisk in the sugar to taste. Next add the vanilla essence, then fold in the egg white.

  3. Pour the batter into a non-stick frying pan, cover with a lid and cook over a medium to low heat.
