For a hearty, filling, and insanely tasty savoury dish, try this potato and chicken soboro recipe. This recipe features potatoes and chicken mince seasoned to perfection with a lovely blend of savoury soy sauce and sweet, spicy ginger. Enjoy as a side dish to a main meal or as a great bento filler.

材料

• 200g potatoes
• 100g chicken mince
• 1 tbsp soy sauce
• 1 tbsp mirin
• 1 tbsp cooking sake
• 1 tbsp sugar
• grated ginger

手順

  1. Cut the potatoes into bite sized pieces and rinse well with water.

  2. In a pan, warm some vegetable oil before adding the chicken mince. Pan fry until the mince separates, then add 1 cup of water and skim off any scum when it reaches the boil.

  3. Add the potatoes, soy sauce, mirin, cooking sake, sugar and ginger.
    Cover and cook over a medium low heat for 7-8 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
