Sekihan is a traditional celebratory rice dish in Japan, most commonly eaten during New Year but more and more regularly enjoyed during other celebrations, or sometimes in an everyday bento lunch. • Place rice, beans, and broth into a rice cooker.
• Add 1/2 tsp salt and 250ml water and stir.
• Turn cooker on regular rice cycle.
• When finished, open and mix well, then close lid and allow to steam for 5-10 mins.
