Yakisoba are wheat noodles that are fried with sliced pork and cabbage, then topped with pickled red ginger and plenty of yakisoba sauce and mayonnaise. They are a popular summer food and often sold at stalls during Japanese festivals.


These noodles help you make yakisoba quickly and easily.
• Warm a frying pan, add 1 tbsp of lard or cooking oil, then stir fry 30g of pork.
• Add the yakisoba noodles to the pan, separate them well and shape into a circle. Heat until the noodles are browned on one side, then flip over and cook on the other side.
• Add 100g of beansprouts and 20g of spring onion and stir fry while separating the noodles. Add the liquid yakisoba sauce and mix well, then serve!
