Soba are a traditional type of Japanese noodle that are mainly produced in Hokkaido. They can be served either hot in a delicious soup, or even served chilled with a tsuyu and wasabi dipping sauce, a great way to cool down in the warm summer months.
Soba are usually dried so need to be cooked in hot water.
• Add approx. 1l of boiling water for every 90g of noodles. Stir the noodles, then stop the heat. Leave to sit for 4-5 mins.
• Drain and rinse well with cold water.
• Serve cold with tsuyu dipping sauce and a little bit of wasabi or serve in warm noodle soup.
