A delight for all noodle fans! Made without salt or wheat flour, these are authentic, rich and nutty, pure buckwheat noodles. It takes great skill and craftsmanship to make jyuwari 100% buckwheat soba, so they can be hard to find outside Japan, making these soba noodles a real treat! Delicious chilled with dipping sauce or warm in noodle soup.

Made from buckwheat, soba noodles are a Japanese staple, especially on hot summer days. They can be eaten hot or cold but are especially delicious served cold with a chilled light soy sauce, wasabi and topping of nori seaweed or spring onion.


These soba noodles can either be eaten cool with a dipping sauce or garnished with seaweed and other vegetables.
• Put soba in a pan of roughly 2L of boiling water.
• Simmer in the pan, stirring gently, for approx 4 minutes. Turn off heat and cover pan with lid, leave to stand for 2 minutes.
• Wash amply with cold water to cool the soba down and serve.
