One of the lesser-known varieties of Japanese noodle, somen are long and very thin wheat noodles that are most notorious for how little time they take to prepare. They are commonly served cold with tsuyu dipping sauce and assorted garnishes, but they are also excellent for hot noodle soups. - Prepare your dipping sauce and toppings before hand.
- Boil 1L of water in a saucepan per each bundle of noodles.
- Boil for 2 mins and drain with running cold water.
- Serve as you like.
