There are few things more comforting than a cup of warm soup, especially during the colder weeks and months. Although most soup in Japanese cuisine is served as a clear broth with noodles and/or miso, the thicker tomato, pumpkin, and onion soups more prevalent in Western culture are also commonly enjoyed, particularly in Hokkaido where the weather is coldest. For a great range of Japanese instant soups, take a look at japancentre.com's Instant Soups section.
The soup is meant to be of a thick consistency but it wasn't. Also the corn in the satchet was not tasty because it was really chewie.\nFlavor-wise it was good.

Tastes lovely and quick and easy to make. Only issue was short sell by date of only 2 months from purchase, which for dried goods I thought very short.
