Sushi vinegar, or seasoned rice vinegar, is an important part of making sushi. Vinegar was originally added to rice as a way to help preserve the fish. Although not necessary anymore, the tradition has stuck and rice vinegar is used to add unique and yummy flavour these days.

使い方

Get ready to sushi up a storm!
• Cook your Japanese rice following our recipe.
• Once the rice is cooked, add it to a large bowl.
• While the rice is cooling, add 1tbsp of powdered sushi vinegar for every 300g of rice.
• Fold the vinegar in until the rice has fully cooled. Your rice is now ready to make sushi!

It is easier than liquid form, your sushi rice won’t be too wet!! And taste so authentic too!! Highly recommended.
