If you enjoy flavours as complex as the oldest of whiskies, the Whisky No Kaze (meaning 'The Wind of Whisky') is the cocktail for you. The alcohol base of this cocktail blends the herby, dynamic flavours of namazake, green chartreuse, and hakushu whisky. This is then complimented with the citrus flavours of orange and lime, the freshness of mint leaves, and the sweetness of vanilla syrup. Try it and see if you can taste all the flavours within.

Ingredienti

50ml namazake
25ml green chartreuse
20ml hakushu whisky, 12yr
15ml orange juice
5ml vanilla syrup
6 fresh mint leaves
3 drops of orange angostura
1 fresh squeezed lime before serving

Preparazione

  1. Muddle the mint leaves with the Green Chartreuse.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the lime.
  3. Shake hard over ice cubes and double strain into a chilled martini glass.
  4. Garnish with a mint wisp and orange peel and squeeze the fresh lime into it before serving.
