Provate una delle ricette giapponesi più veloci e appaganti: il riso al tè verde. Questa ricetta è nata come modo di riutilizzare il riso avanzato, l'ochazuke viene spesso preparato utilizzando bustine di condimento già pronto, a cui serve soltanto aggiungere l'acqua. L'ochazuke può essere servito come merenda o come cena leggera.

Ingredienti

• bustina di condimento istantaneo per minestra ochazuke
• 100g riso cotto
• 150ml acqua calda

Preparazione

  1. First thing you need to do is grab a suitable bowl for your ochazuke. Any small bowl will work great, but a traditional Japanese miso bowl is just the right size so use that if you have one.

  2. Prepare your rice as per the instructions, or refer to our Japanese rice cooking guide.
    If you are using leftover rice, pop it in the microwave for a minute or two to make sure it is warm.

  3. Once you have the rice in your bowl, empty the contents of one ochazuke sachet over the rice and switch your kettle on.

  4. Now fill up your bowl with 150ml of hot water and make sure that all the pieces of flavour are mixed well with the hot water.
    Your ochazuke is now ready so relax, enjoy the taste and be careful not to wake your partner when you sneak back into bed after your midnight snack.

Consigli e maggiori informazioni

- You can add some extra toppings to your ochazuke if you like. Common things to add are tsukemono, those Japanese pickles, or try adding an umeboshi pickled plum for an intense flavour hit.
- Not such a fan of pickles? Try adding some wasabi for flavour.
- Don’t like wasabi either? Ok, try adding in some shredded nori on top of your ochazuke.
