Umeshu is made by steeping Japanese ume plums in sake alcohol and sugar until the flavour of the plum has infused into the alcohol. The sour flavour of the ume plums and the sweetness of the sugar combine to give umeshu deep sweet/sour flavour. Best served chilled, umeshu can be enjoyed straight, mixed with soda, or combined with other beverages for a fruity cocktail!

• Drink straight, on the rocks or with champagne for a truly indulgent cocktail.

Very good drink.
Slightly too sweat for my liking
I got this as a father's day present for my dad and he really likes it. It's quite sweet (like most Umeshu) but was really nice after dinner to wind down at the end of the day. Definitely recommend
Superb taste and quality. Lovely to have as a liqueur. Highly recommend.
