Kagoshima is located in the southern-most parts of the Japanese island of Kyushu. It is the only area of Japan where the relatively rare Berkshire black pig is bred. These pigs yield succulent, flavoursome pork meat which is perfect for enjoying with a bowl of ramen.
Kagoshima-style ramen is now almost too easy!
• Bring 500ml of water to boil on a stove. Add one bunch of noodles and cook for approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds, or until noodles are at the desired softness.
• Turn off heat and add one sachet each of powdered soup, seasoning oil and roasted onions. Stir through to combine.
• Serve in a large bowl and enjoy while hot! We recommend adding various toppings such as sliced pork, bean sprouts, cabbage and spring onion.
