Somen are a traditional type of Japanese noodle made from wheat. Similar to udon noodles they are thinner due to being stretched when made. They are popularly eaten cold in Japan during the hot summer months with a rich tsuyu dipping sauce.

Istruzioni e osservazioni

Somen are quick to cook and make a very tasty quick meal.
• Add approx. 1l of boiling water for every 100g of noodles. Stir the noodles, then cook 2 mins or until they reach your desired doneness.
• Drain and rinse well with cold water.
• Serve cold with tsuyu dipping sauce and a little bit of wasabi. To serve warm, heat the noodles in hot water after draining and rinsing, then drain again and serve as you like.
