White miso is made from soy beans and a high percentage of rice which have been fermented to create a light, slightly sweet tasting paste. White miso is popular in the western regions on Japan such as Kyoto and Osaka.

• Add a spoonful of miso paste to hot dashi stock water to create miso soup.
• Marinade fish in miso before grilling for an authentic Japanese meal.

Japan centre makes the best miso! It lasts for ages in the fridge and you can use it for so many things
I buy this all the time from thre Japan Centre as its easy to use and in a good package. The boxed version is much easier to use than the packets, and it keeps for quite a while in the fridges.
