Nabe is a hot pot full of assorted meat, tofu and vegetables, all boiled in a flavoursome soup stock and usually eaten during the cold Japanese winters. When nabe was originally made, the hot pot at the centre of the table was used as a source of heat. Everybody crowded around the table to enjoy the heat of the pot as well as the delicious meal that resulted. Istruzioni e osservazioni

• In a pot of pan, bring one sachet of nabe sauce base and 300ml water to the boil and mix together well.
• Gradually add in your chosen ingredients (we recommend 100g pork belly, 2-3 chopped cabbage leaves, 1/4 an onion and 1/2 bunch of chives), taking care to add ingredients that require more cooking time in first. Wait until cooked through then sit and eat together with friends.
