Perfect hot or cold for all your noodle dishes. 

These thick flat noodles with kudzu are made from potato starch like harusame noodles. The added kudzu root gives a springier texture with the ability to hold more chew. This makes them great for hot pots, where you can put them straight in and wait for 5 mins before serving, or great as a cold noodle dessert with a little kuromitsu syrup and kinako for an authentic summertime treat. They are also perfect for stir fries and those wanting something different from wheat based noodles.

Harusame are dried starch noodles. Originally made from mung beans, there are now lots of different varieties to choose from. These translucent noodles have a slightly slippery texture and, although flavourless, readily absorb flavours and add a pleasant texture to soups, salads, stir-fries and even desserts. Istruzioni e osservazioni

Boil for 7-8 mins. Drain, and run with cold water to serve noodles cold. For hot pot, just place uncooked noodles into hot pot, and allow to cook with ingredients for 5 mins.
