Bring refreshing, rustic flavours to your Japanese cooking.

Capturing the crisp bite and nourishing sweetness of its fresh mountain-grown produce in a sweet soy sauce seasoning, this mixed selection of flavoured vegetables adds new layers of texture and nutrition to your homemade Japanese recipes. Consisting of baby bamboo shoots, tender bracken stems, Japanese parsley and a combination of chopped Jew's ear and Enoki mushrooms, these wild vegetables are often stir-fried with rice, soy sauce and kelp dashi to create rustic sansai gohan, though can easily be served raw, boiled over noodles or pickled as a crunchy, palate-pleasing side dish. Contains vegetables sourced from both Japan and China.

Plus d'infos

Umani is a style of cooking, whereby fish (or meat) and vegetables are boiled in soy sauce sweetened with sugar. This practice allows the saltiness of the soy sauce and the sweetness of the sugar to infuse into the fish/meat/vegetables and make their flavour more complex.
