Malony noodles perfectly made for hot pot. 

Malony noodles are made from potato starch, and are a great alternative to wheat based noodles. These thicker noodles are designed for hot pot and other nabe dishes. All you need to do is put them in with the rest of the hot pot ingredients at the end, and allow them to cook around 7-8 mins. You can also use them for soups and even sukiyaki.

Harusame are dried starch noodles. Originally made from mung beans, there are now lots of different varieties to choose from. These translucent noodles have a slightly slippery texture and, although flavourless, readily absorb flavours and add a pleasant texture to soups, salads, stir-fries and even desserts.
