In a bowl mix together the sugar and matcha green tea, before adding the pancake mix and stirring in.
Warm some vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. When warmed through, remove the frying pan from the heat and place on a damp tea towel. Pour away any excess oil, then pour in 1/4 of the batter into the pan.
Place the pan over a low heat, cooking for 3 minutes. When it begins to bubble, flip over and cook for 2 minutes on the other side.
Plate the pancakes, top with the sweet red beans, chestnuts and a sprinkle of matcha green tea.
