• 200g pancake mix
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp matcha green tea
• 1 egg
• 150ml milk or soy drink
• 1 can prepared red beans
• 4 chopped sweet chestnuts
• matcha green tea for sprinkling on top

How To Prepare

  1. In a bowl mix together the sugar and matcha green tea, before adding the pancake mix and stirring in.

  2. Warm some vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. When warmed through, remove the frying pan from the heat and place on a damp tea towel. Pour away any excess oil, then pour in 1/4 of the batter into the pan.

  3. Place the pan over a low heat, cooking for 3 minutes. When it begins to bubble, flip over and cook for 2 minutes on the other side.

  4. Plate the pancakes, top with the sweet red beans, chestnuts and a sprinkle of matcha green tea.
