Combine jelly and Japanese umeshu plum one into one original dish. These umeshu jellies are slightly sweet, a little boozey and absolutely delicious. We recommend using Choya umeshu or any brand with ume plums inside to bring extra sophistication to this dish. A great adult jelly to showcase at your next dinner parties. 


5g powder gelatin
2 tbsp water
100ml umeshu
300ml water
5-6 tbsp sugar

How To Prepare

  1. Soak the gelatin in 2 tbsp of water until rehydrated.
  2. In a small pan put the sugar, umeshu and remaining water, and bring to the boil. Remove the pan from the heat just before it reaches the boil.
  3. Add the gelatin to the pan and mix well until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
  4. Leave to cool slightly then put the umeshu mixture in your favourite glass or a container and refrigerate until the jelly is set.
