Make a delicious miso-based meal in less than 30 minutes with this ancient superfood miso soup bowl. This recipe comes from Miso Tasty, makers of top-quality white and red instant miso soups. It combines the delicious flavours of miso with quinoa and tasty veggies for a quick and healthy lunch or dinner that will keep you powering on.


Ingredients

1 miso tasty spicy aka miso soup
4-5 broccoli florets
240g quinoa
1 red chilli
2-3 kale leaves
handful alfalfa sprouts

How To Prepare

  1. Cook the quinoa according to the packet instructions. While the quinoa’s cooking, steam the broccoli for 5 minutes until softer, but still bright green.

  2. Shred the kale leaves and finely slice the red chilli.

  3. Make up the miso soup as per packet instructions.

  4. Add the cooked quinoa to the soup, drop in the broccoli and kale, and sprinkle the chilli and alfalfa sprouts on top.

Tips and Information

- If spice is not your thing, try skipping the chilli and making this recipe with the Classic Shiro miso instead.
- Try experimenting with alternative vegetables for a bit of variety. Maybe try spinach instead of kale, or bean sprouts instead of alfalfa sprouts.
