Put a twist on traditional sushi with this unique sushi bake. Great for hot weather, there is no need to worry about whether your fish stayed fresh with this recipe. This is also a good way to introduce the flavours of sushi to anybody who is not keen on raw foods. Serve as a party dish or easy family meal, it’s super simple to make this meal.

Ingredients

• 100g sushi rice
• 20ml sushi vinegar
• japanese mayonnaise
• tuna or other seafood of choice
• 2 spring onions
• nori seaweed

How To Prepare

  1. Let’s start by making the sushi rice.

  2. Pre-heat your oven 180C. If you need to cook any of your seafood, now’s the time. Otherwise finely chop your spring onions.

  3. In a bowl mix together the mayonnaise, tuna and spring onions. We like a 2:1 ratio of mayonnaise to other ingredients.

  4. Very lightly oil an oven pan and spread your sushi rice along the bottom. Next, top with the mayonnaise mixture. Cook for around 15 minutes.

  5. Remove from the oven and spoon the rice on to a bit of your nori seaweed.
