Kikkoman Light Soy Sauce, 500 ml
There are many types of soy sauce to choose from in Japan that you will be forgiven for getting confused! From lighter, sweeter sauces to dark, rich soy sauces, there is one to compliment any type of dish you can imagine. Usukuchi shoyu is made with lightly roasted wheat and with more salt than normal which slows the fermentation process. Mirin has also been added to the mixture. Usukuchi shoyu is lighter in colour and is used where a less strong flavour and lighter brown colour are desired. The salt content of Usukuchi shoyu is slightly higher than Koikuchi shoyu because of the extra salt used to slow fermentation. 500ml.
