500ml of seasoned pickling marinade for vegetables. Use this kombu kelp seasoned liquid seasoning to make mild Japanese-style tsukemono pickles out of cucumber, aubergine, turnip, Chinese cabbage and other vegetables in just 30 minutes. Enjoy your freshly prepared tsukemono pickles as part of a salad or on top of a serving of white rice.

Japanese pickles, or tsukemono, are an important part of the Japanese diet. Often used to add a touch of acidity, it is common to see a little serving of pickles with a bento lunch, on the side of a plate of curry, or in a separate condiment jar in a sushi bar. For the freshest pickles possible, try making some yourself with marinades such as this!

How To Use

• Chop up whatever vegetables you like into bite-size pieces.
• Add vegetables to a sturdy sandwich bag and pour in enough pickle marinade for 2/3rds of the vegetables to be submerged.
• Leave to marinade for 30 minutes, drain, and enjoy!
