For top quality green tea as organic as tea can come, it has to be Clearspring. This loose leaf brown rice green tea, or genmaicha, is a 1:1 mix of organically-grown Japanese green tea and organically grown roasted wholegrain rice. With a nutty, more mild flavour than other green tea, genmaicha is a fantastic pick-me-up tea great for drinking any time of day.

ITEM ID: #6539

Background

All clearspring teas are 100% organic, meaning that the agricultural processes used to grow the ingredients for the tea are approved of as environmentally safe, in this case by the Organic Soil Association. Organic produce is gaining in popularity due to the belief that they are better for the body, as well as better for the environment.

How To Use

Loose leaf tea tends to have a fresher, more authentic taste than bagged varieties.
• Place three heaped teaspoons of tea leaves per cup in a teapot.
• Bring water to a full boil and then allow it to cool to between 70-90 degrees celcius
• Pour water over the tea leaves and allow them to steep for 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!

I use thsi tea in teh evening before going to bed.\nIt is a green tea with added flavour which makes it far nicer than ordinary green tea.\nI would recommend to anybody that wants to drink green tea with a twist.
