Background

Umeshu is one of the most popular alcoholic beverages in Japan, and the variety of umeshu out there is astounding. It is made by steeping unripened ume, or Japanese plums, in a mixture of alcohol and sugar until the flavours infuse. It has a delightfully fruity sweet/sour flavour and is delicious drunk straight or with soda.

How To Use

Great neat or in a cocktail.
• Mix 2:3 with soda water for Umeshu Soda.
• Serve on the rocks for Umeshu Rokku.
• Mix 3:1:2 umeshu, calpico and soda for a tasty cocktail.
