When it comes to sake, it is helpful to approach it in a similar way to how one approaches wine. Although there are a few different grades of sake (with this sake being a ‘ginjo’, or high-quality, grade), there are subtle differences in sake flavour according to when, where, and how the rice is grown and fermented. The best way to tell how ‘good’ a sake is is to try it for yourself.
