Full of intense flavour without the heat, this kit is all you need to create mabo harusame noodles in a matter of minutes. While mabo is normally quite a hot Chinese dish, this version has taken out the hot spices so that even people not keen on spicy food can enjoy it.

ITEM ID: #5777

Harusame, a name literally meaning “spring rain”, are a type of clear noodle originally made from mung beans. Slightly slippery and flavourless, they are ideal for adding texture to soups, salads and other dishes. They also readily absorb the flavours of the food around them.

How To Use

Microwave or cook on the hob!
• To microwave: Pour 350ml of water, the sauce and noodles into a heat proof bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and cook for 5 minutes (1000w). Remove wrap and stir well.
• To cook on the hob: Pour 350ml of water into a pan and add the noodles. Gently separate the noodles using chopsticks as it cooks. When the water comes to the boil, reduce the heat to medium and add the sauce. Simmer for 3 minutes, then enjoy!
