Full of nutrients and easy to make, you can hardly go wrong with this packet of dried soba noodles. These noodles are made from a combination of wheat and buckwheat flours, giving them the smooth texture of wheat flour but the added nutrients of buckwheat flour. Best served cold with tsuyu dipping sauce.

Soba are one of Japan’s most well-known types of noodle. Long and thin, most soba contains at least some buckwheat flour. The more buckwheat flour the soba contains, the more nutritious it is. Depending on how you like your soba, Japan Centre has a number of varieties available.

How To Use

Prepare these soba noodles in a number of ways:
• Boil 2 litres of water in a pan and add contents of packet before boiling for approx. 7 mins.
• For Zaru Soba rinse boiled noodles under cold water and present on an authentic bamboo zaru tray.
