Kayu is rice that has been boiled with a large volume of water to create a thick porridge. Eaten all over East Asia when one is feeling unwell (making it something like the Asian equivalent of chicken soup), kayu is also a great alternative to the oat-based porridges commonly enjoyed here in the UK for breakfast. How To Use

• Place unopened pack into a pot of boiling water and boil for 5 – 6 mins.
• Alternatively, pour contents of packet into a bowl, cover with clingfilm and microwave for 2 mins 20 seconds.
• Unwrap, mix well, and serve.

Easy to use, I just added a bit of water in the porridge and warm up in a pan. It tastes soft and nice.
I have this as a quick and easy breakfast.
