Slightly salted, this makes a great addition to salads and pastas.

Konbu is a Japanese seaweed that is full of rich umami flavour and one of the main ingredients for making dashi stock. This is due to the large amount of glutamic acid which gives it that delicious savoury taste. Konbu seaweed contains a high amount of iodine and is a great source of dietary fibre.

How To Use

This dark shredded salted konbu kelp can be used straight from the packet as:
• A Japanese-style salad ingredient.
• Mix into rice, onigiri and ochazuke for added savoury flavour.
• An ingredient to add saltiness to stir-fries.
