Background

Udon are among the most widely enjoyed noodles in Japan. Normally much thicker than other Japanese noodles such as soba or ramen, Udon have a distinct chewy texture that makes them particularly ideal for enjoying with denser, thicker sauces. Here at Japan Centre we have a great range of dried, par-boiled, and instant udon items available in our Udon Noodles section.

How To Use

• Simmer the noodles in boiling water or soup for 3 minutes.
• Once cooked through, transfer to a bowl and enjoy with your favourite garnish or sauce.

These Udon tastes so good unlike other brand which tastes a bit sour/weird. It's so easy to cook either stir fry or with soup. I would recommend to anyone who are looking for great quality Udon.

I use these to make quick lunchtime soups. They're easy and quick to make and pretty tasty. The main drawback is they don't come apart very easily, so the noodles end up breaking.
