Chewy udon goodness.

A soft yet robust noodle texture that boils quickly and soaks up sumptuous amounts of flavour, these fresh udon are the perfect addition to your homemade stir-fries and noodle soups. Kneaded continuously in water to draw out the dense, starchy deliciousness, these udon come par-boiled and cook after just 1 minute and are easy to chill in ice afterwards. These noodles can be added to hot or cold dishes, providing a refreshing bite to hearty hot pots and broths, as well as creamy chew to cooler dressings and sauces.

ITEM ID: #16460

Udon are among the most widely enjoyed noodles in Japan. Normally much thicker than other Japanese noodles such as soba or ramen, Udon are made without the inclusion of egg to create a distinct chewy texture and supple body that is particularly ideal for absorbing dense and rich sauces for a wonderfully smooth enjoyment of Japan's finest flavours. Fantastic either hot or cold, they're the perfect cuisine companion for anyone experimenting with bold tastes so why not check japancentre.com's great range of dried, par-boiled, and instant udon items available in our Udon Noodles section.

Delicious in ramen and soups, really tasty and quick and easy!
One of my favourite noodles that I can never find in shops local to me, will definitely be a regular order
easy to use
The noodle has some sour taste in it.
My children love these noodles either in soup or stir fried with chicken and vegetables
I use this product with vegetables and a spicy sauce. The description of this product was accurate and I would certainly recommend it.
Great udon noodles for soups or stir fry. For stir fry only pop it into hot water to soften it enough that they separate and then pop over onto the stir fry pan, otherwise they overcook. For soups cook as instructed.
