Background

Sake is Japan’s most famous alcoholic drink, brewed using special sake rice. Sake has many different types and grades depending on the brewing process, ingredients used and percentage the rice is polished. Ginjo sakes such as this are more highly polished than most other sakes, and as such they have a purer flavour that tends to be more enjoyable when drunk cold. But of course, that can depend on the sake. For a great selection of sake drinking vessels, as well as other Japanese serveware, take a look at japancentre.com's Dining section.
