Taste the difference in quality with Shiraishi's soba buckwheat noodles. Made using a traditional soba making method from 1886, these noodles are made in-house from 50% soba flour from Sarashina; a famous soba house from the Edo period. This soba is ideal for using in hot and cold noodle dishes.

Soba are one of the three most commonly eaten noodles in Japan (along with udon and ramen). 'Soba' means 'buckwheat' in Japanese, and what separates soba noodles from other types of Japanese noodle is the inclusion of this ingredient. How To Use

• Bring 1 litre of water to a to a boil in a saucepan. Place 100g of soba in the sauce pan and boil for approximately 4 minutes. Adjust the heat based on your preference for hardness of noodles.
• Drain the soba noodles through a sift and run it through cold water.
