A smaller sake snifter.

For a nice, well-rounded sake that is the perfect size for a light evening tipple, Gekkeikan's Junmai Sake is ideal. Coming in servings of just 100ml, this sake is presented in a glass jar known as a 'mini cup'. As a nicely balanced sake that is neither too sweet nor too acidic, too full nor too light in flavour, this is a sake that can be served chilled (5℃-10℃) or gently warmed (40℃-50℃). To warm up, simply remove the foil lid, place in a 500W microwave, and heat up for no longer than 30 seconds.

Background

Sake is Japan’s most well-known alcohol. It is brewed using special sake rice, koji (an edible rice mould that serves as the fermenting agent), and sometimes a little brewer's alcohol. A sake's characteristics, including how sweet or dry it is, how light or full bodied it is, and what flavours it evokes, depend on the type of rice and other ingredients used, how much the rice is polished/milled, and what brewing methods have been employed.
