Bring a more Japanese umami flavour to your cooking with Hakumatsu's gourmet seaweed sea salt. This salt is made by pickling sundried seaweed in purified sea water from the coast of Nagasaki's Tsushima Island. The water is then carefully boiled off, and the seaweed/salt combination is what remains. Bringing together salt and seaweed in this way allows for a more complex, mature seasoning than standard table salts. Try using this instead of regular salt and taste the difference.
