A mild and refreshing flavour.

Experience a pure rice wine full of mellow yet refreshing flavours with Hatsuhinode Junmai Ginjo Sake. Made by Kyoto-based sake brewers Haneda Shuzo, this high quality rice wine has been brewed using Gohyakumangoku rice (from Niigata prefecture) polished to 55% of its original size for refined purity, as well as a low temperature fermentation method which allows more time for the sake flavours to develop. The resulting sake subtle, complex, and unique. This sake is best enjoyed slightly warmed, on its own or with light, aromatic dishes.

Sake Category: Junmai Ginjo (high quality pure rice wine)
Flavour: Mild, refreshing
Aroma: Subtle, discreet.
Drinking Temperature: Gently warmed (35℃-40℃)

Sake is Japan’s most well-known alcoholic drink. It is brewed using any of a number of specialty sake rices, koji (otherwise known as rice malt or rice mould), and sometimes a little brewer's alcohol. A sake's characteristics, including how sweet or dry it is, how light or full bodied it is, and what flavours it evokes, depend on the type of rice and other ingredients used, how much the rice is polished/milled, and what brewing methods have been employed. To explore the wide and varied world of sake, take a look at Japan Centre's Sake section.

Very good quality.
I haven't had a chance to try the product myself as it is a gift. The packaging is beautiful though, looks really expensive.
