Udon noodles are the thickest of the white noodles and are famous for their fine, palatable and smooth taste, they are made from wheat and are generally whiter and softer in texture than other noodles. Considered a health food in Japan, tororo konbu is made from slivers of shaved kelp that have been seasoned with vinegar; this process gives them a soft, delicate texture.
Cup noodles have never been so authentic!
• Open the noodles and place in the cup. Pour on hot water and replace the lid.
• After 1 min. stir the noodles gently and drain the water.
• Add the soup sachet and tororo konbu, pour on hot water and mix well.
