A box of seasoning for okonomiyaki. By simply adding this okonomiyaki seasoning to regular flour you can end up with delicious and fluffy okonomiyaki. With extracts of bonito, kelp, Japanese yam and squid, combined with flour this okonomiyaki seasoning leaves you with tasty, perfect okonomiyaki everytime! Can be used with both normal flour and special okonomiyaki flour.


Okonomiyaki literally means ‘grilled as you like it’. A speciality of the Osaka region, okonomiyaki pancakes are a delicious savoury dish that’s simple and quick to make. Very versatile, okonomiyaki can be made with many different meats, seafoods and vegetables to suit your own tastes.

How To Use

For fluffy and delicious okonomiyaki:
• Add 100g flour, 1 packet of okonomiyaki seasoning, 2 eggs and 150ml water to a bowl and mix well.
• Add 200g of cabbage and whatever other fresh ingredients you like before cooking in a lightly oiled frying pan (medium heat) or a hotplate (180 degrees).
• Cook for 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

If you are using a special okonomiyaki flour add 1 sachet of seasoning to 200g okonomiyaki flour and follow the instructions on the flour packet.
